Penn State community reminded to use new mailing addresses for package delivery
Penn State community members are reminded to utilize their newly assigned building mailing addresses for all mail and package deliveries. These addresses were established as a result of the University Police and Public Safety 911 addressing project completed in 2024, providing official, standardized street addresses for campus buildings to enhance emergency response and support daily operations.

Employees reminded of access rights, reporting obligations related to OSHA
As an employer under the jurisdiction of the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Penn State is required to make certain records available to employees. The University must also report work-related injuries meeting specified criteria to OSHA. In accordance with OSHA requirements, Penn State makes work-related exposure records and work-related medical records available to its employees and their designated representatives.

UPPS announces hazing awareness training, partners with R-VOICE for April 8 event
Penn State University Police and Public Safety’s Community Oriented Policing Unit has launched a new no-cost Hazing Awareness and Prevention program. To help introduce the new program and highlight the unit's broader educational offerings, UPPS will partner with the R-VOICE Center for a tabling event at the HUB Robeson Center on April 8.

Run, Hide, Fight: Community reminded of steps to take if faced with a threat
“We urge every member of the Penn State community to take an active role in maintaining a safe campus environment,” said Wesley Sheets, associate vice president and chief of police and public safety. “Whether it’s reporting concerning behavior, becoming familiar with our Active Attacker Response Program, or signing up for PSUAlert notifications, these simple steps help strengthen our collective safety and preparedness.”
